Osprey Packs Daylite Daypack

I am obsessed with my Osprey Daypack. It is hands-down one of the best purchases I have ever made. Perfect for a day hike, a trip to the pool, or a quick overnight trip this sturdy and comfortable little bag will never let you down. Its main compartment is the perfect size for larger items (and snacks!) and the mesh side pockets made it really easy to get to critical items like sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, etc. without having to take the pack off. The hydration pocket will fit a reservoir up to 3L but you'll have to buy one separately. Trust me, just do it. You won't be sorry!

If you're looking to upsize and have your sights set on a long distance backpacking trip, you can't go wrong with any of the Osprey Backpacking Backpacks. They're pricier than a daypack but are well worth the money considering they're quality, well-built, and will be with you forever.

TrailBuddy 2-pc Adjustable Trekking Poles

Some people turn their noses up at trekking poles and I just don't understand why. Come on! They're magical balance beams that protect your knees, your back and keep you sure-footed as a mountain goat! This set from TrailBuddy is perfect for anyone looking to secure some walking sticks and comes in a variety of colors to suit your style.

More advanced hikers may want to up the ante with this set from Black Diamond. Either way, don't let anyone bully you into not using trekking poles... once you come upon a sketchy water crossing you'll never regret your purchase.

Eyeskey Multifunctional Military Lensatic Tactical Compass

We live in a world of instant information thanks to the internet and GPS technology. Despite that, I know that I am not alone in saying that I love getting outside because I love unplugging from it all. On the other hand, I definitely do not love being lost in the wilderness and this tactical compass ensures that that will never happen. It's compact and lightweight enough to go unnoticed in your pack, is both waterproof and temperature resistant, and has a fluorescent dial perfect for navigating back to camp after sundown. The best part? No batteries! No recharging! Just good ol' reliable navigation.

I can't tell you how many times I've left for a camping trip and forgot my camp chair. I have no idea why I have such a hard time remembering because a chair back at camp is such a wonderful, simple luxury. This no-frills low sling camping chair has everything you need for a rest back at camp including breathable reinforced mesh, foam-wrapped armrests, a cupholder, and carry bag with strap. It's incredibly lightweight, too, which makes it the perfect choice for camping, concerts, beach days and beyond!

Black Diamond Apollo Lantern

I love my Black Diamond Apollo Lantern just as much as I love my Osprey Daypack and I'm not just saying that to sway you. I swear by this lantern and it has come in handy more times than I could ever count. This thing is bright, compact, and collapsible making it essential for any adventure. It also has a battery-saving dimming function to provide optimal light, and its collapsible hang loop and folding legs allow you to prop it up anywhere - you can even use it as a flashlight on those midnight bathroom runs!
